The Marketing & Communications Department (M&C) applies leading-edge marketing and communications instruments to ensure optimal connections between the university and its different target groups. As part of a university that aims to shape society, connections and individuals, we focus on securing the best possible inflow in terms of quantity, quality and diversity. We do this by continuously developing our university's brand reputation, visibility and attractiveness. Digital marcom strategist

Not to innovate for the sake of innovation, but to push ahead with the goals of our university and its marketing and communication strategy firmly in mind. 

Your role

From niche optimisations to completely new solutions, tooling and frameworks: you will work tirelessly to improve and develop our marcom landscape. Sometimes by taking measured, exploratory steps, sometimes at the heart of large-scale projects involving a wide range of stakeholders and systems. You will alternate between the key roles of project manager, digital expert and consultant. 

You will work closely with internal clients, communication advisors, online advisors and marketers, project managers, content specialists, CRM experts, functional managers, ICT experts and suppliers, to name but a few. From cutting-edge innovators to those less responsive to technology, you have what it takes to bring all sides together. Through cooperation, you will evaluate which solutions suit which goals, identify the exact expertise required and know how to deliver within the time and budget available. You can distil extensive and complex issues into a clear briefing made up of clear steps, and ultimately achieve the excellent results expected of you. 

Our ambitious range of current projects includes customisable study guides with content from various source systems, the redesign of events and information activities with the associated platforms, the development of new content platforms and the restructuring of content with a renewed focus on customer journeys.

 

Profile

What do you bring to the table?

You are energised by complex projects involving diverse target groups and stakeholders in a large and diverse market landscape. You have extensive experience (at least 7 years) in marketing, communication and project management, with a strong digital profile. You can identify and capitalise on opportunities, are solutions-oriented and enjoy a challenge. It goes without saying that you enjoy working as part of a team, combining sensitivity with strong communication skills.

At all times and in every situation, you will also be able to draw on your:

The gross monthly salary based on full-time employment is between € 2.790 and € 4.402. This is consistent with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities, and based on the university job profile of Communication Officer/Advisor 3.
